Weight Loss part 1

What is Hypnosis, Why Should I Try It?

Trying to shed your weight can be challenging, some experience the yoyo effect, this breaks your confidence, can make you so self conscious to the point instead of enjoying your meal you think / believe (programming) you have you to watch what you eat else that those kilos don’t return.

Weight issues are a mind set, you have either been conditioned in believing what you eat makes you fat or how much you eat will pack those extra layers. This does not help when you have a stressful life, this negative mind set creates more stress to your life and self-esteem, totally unnecessary.

Losing weight

It is common for people to go through cycles of weight loss and weight gain, over eating, feeling guilty, endless various diets. The best diet is a healthy diet according to your body diet and diatry needs and of course programming your views on food and weight loss. With an excellent hypnosis tools and sessions you achieve your ideal goal, feel wonderful and healthy and you are able to sustain your desired goal.

There are other factors to weight loss or weight gain. In my opinion you don’t need to diet, all you need to do is:

Identify what the core emotional issue is for the weight gain or loss

Set in motion a hypnotic group of sessions to deal directly with the goals to be reached

Set a time period

Eating healthy for body type / needs / desire

Goals: weight loss, look, feel, energy, feeling, sensation, desires, outcome

What has worked and what did not in the past before hypnosis

Other underlying issues preventing weight loss

Implementation of above according to hypnosis advancement to individual

Tools applied: trigger mechanism, CD, visual, eating habits, freedom

All diets and various eating plans assist you to have guidelines and what your focus is required consciously, remember the conscious follows the subconscious. In hypnotherapy we change how you feel about yourself, the food you eat, what effects the food have on you.

The subconscious is superior to the conscious, therefore in hypnotherapy we awaken the positive aspects so you no need to think of the diet, limitations, restrictions of being on diet. We simply energise the Mind to know through its programming the food you eat is going to be ones that are good for you, healthier and you chew your food are some examples that may be added in a hypnotherapy session.

If the mind believes in one way it is conditioned to that way, when we condition our mind a better effect productive way we are effective, productive and successful. Hypnosis is about empowering yourself, freedom from the shackles of others beliefs abd programming you have allowed to live by.

If a parent keeps telling you to eat all your food as there are others starving, you may develop a belief / programming that you must feel guilty, if you don’t finish your food others are deprived, if you leave some food on your plate you don’t like the food and the list goes on.

Guilt is the silent emotion that may deprive you of living your life to the fullest. Society has made guilt priority through social standards or either being good enough or not, these are not even your issues. Guilt has played its might in conditioning you to believe you are less, will have less, will always be less unless, always a condition, a negative one at that.

The repercussion of negative life depriving programming robs you of your self empowerment. Any condition that is unnatural has a core from fear. From there guilt, shame, anger, hatred all arise. When the mind is strong the life is fruitful, when the mind is weak there is always an imbalance within the physicality of self.

I have met individuals who are skin and bone and believe they are overweight, others who are obese and others not. If you don’t feel good about yourself it doesn’t make a difference how you look, if your conditioning is one of being unhappy with yourself, it is irrelevant what diet you proceed, clothing you wear or food you eat. When your programming of feeling good about yourself makes you feel absolutely wonderful and amazing you become and are a winner.

While diets and nutrition plans focus on what you eat and how often, hypnotherapy for weight loss changes how you feel about what you eat. For example - on a diet you might eat a carrot and wish you were eating a carrot cake, but with hypnotherapy you can learn to enjoy the carrot and not give that cake a second thought. It might be hard to imagine a world where you'd happily turn down your favourite food for something healthier, but with certain weight loss hypnotherapy techniques it may be possible to change your thinking patterns and gain control over cravings in a way that doesn't depress you.

By targeting the unconscious mind with powerful suggestion techniques, a hypnotherapist will help you develop a positive relationship with food and exercise. The aim of hypnotherapy for weight loss is to make you feel confident about your body, change any negative thoughts about eating and help you lose weight responsibly without impacting your emotional well-being.

How do you know if you should shed some excess:

1. Men with a waist circumference that exceeds 37 inches

2. Women with a waist circumference that exceeds 32 inches

3. Body mass index (BMI) of 25 or more

4. High body fat percentage for your age and sex

5. Pain in your joints (excess weight adds greater stress on joints)

6. Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease.

Needing to lose weight is about how you feel and how you wish to feel. If there are health implications then one should also take that into account. I have had cases where all that was of concern was to lose weight, no consideration of the implications to get there. When you do things the right way about them you succeed with joy and health.

Working out your BMI

1. Find your weight in kilograms and your height in metres - e.g. weight = 60 kg height = 1.7

2. Multiply your height by itself - e.g. 1.7 x 1.7 = 2.89

3. Divide your weight by that figure - e.g. 60 ÷ 2.89 = 20.76

4. 20.76 is the BMI.

Best to weigh yourself and measure your height if you are unable to do this yourself by either getting help or support.

To lose weight it's important to eat a balanced, healthy diet and exercise more.

Signs you are overeating include:

1. anxiety

2. Being heavier than average can result in discrimination, verbal/emotional

bullying or physical abuse. This stigma can intensify the feelings of shame and inadequacy experienced. Feelings like this can lead to : depression,

low self-esteem, low self-confidence, heart conditions, substance abuse,

stress to name a few.

3. cancer.

4. heart attack

5. heart disease

6. high blood pressure

7. high cholesterol

8. It's unhealthy to be overweight or obese because you have a higher risk of

developing/suffering from:

9. stress.

10. stroke

11. type 2 diabetes

12. Forced to eat the food you cant finish (this can be reinforced by parents

during childhood).

13. Eating so fast you do not really taste the flavours in the food or even

noticing your body is full.

14. Cheat eat to reward yourself.

15. Eating when bored or lonely.

16. Eating when you are upset or miserable.

These aspects can reduce your life, relationship, career, dealing with life general happenings and tasks. When we turn to hypnosis we address the core issues that prevent one in having a wonderful happy fulfilling life. Weight gain is protection from something happening in mind emotional spirit level. When you see an overweight person there are underlying programming, support them and share the love. Don’t add to their stress, one never knows what the other has experienced or going through in their life.
